The African Market Basket, also called Bolga basket, is handwoven from hand dyed Kinkanhe straw and comes with a sturdy leather handle. 

This small basket is about the size of a cantaloupe and makes a great gift basket, knitting caddy, nightstand catch-all, and is the perfect basket for an Easter egg hunt.

The Kinkanhe straw used to make the traditional Ghanaian Bolga market basket is also known as Vetiver or elephant grass, and aids in soil and water conservation, helping smallholder farmers with environmental rehabilitation efforts.
