Peruvian artisans, Hector and Martha, use their traditional techniques and tools to craft these one-of-kind key chains and ornaments in the shape of Kentucky. These eco-friendly pieces are made from discarded and recycled cow horn. After being boiled and melted, the horn is hand-cut, molded, carved, and polished to bring out the natural horn color. Our trading partner, Blossom Inspirations, ensures that the artisans are paid a living way. The artisans track all the energy and pollution resulting from production and work hard to reduce and recycle the waste. They invest in projects to protect the environment around their community.
