Artisans working with Minga Fair Trade Imports make a variety of instruments. The art has been passed down through generations. Edgar says: “since childhood I have been in this world of artisan goods.” About eight years ago, Edgar opened a small store in a market in Lima. Currently, he works with about 20 artisans around the city who make various products and instruments for his store. Edgar says that his dream is “to travel to other countries and to form a small business in Perú.” He has two young daughters.
